Shandong Longbei Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (山东隆贝生物科技有限公司) was founded in 2006 and produces collagen peptides at 2501 Dongjing Road in the Qingzhou Economic Development Zone, Qingzhou, under Weifang in Shandong Province.

Peptides are made by directed enzymatic cleavage of collagen, followed by a two-step purification process the company imported from Japan. Raw materials include deep sea cod skin, tilapia skin and fish scales, along with bovine and chicken hide, bone and cartilage. The range covers hydrolysed collagen, marine fish oligopeptide powder, collagen tripeptide, cod skin, tilapia skin, salmon and fish scale collagen peptides, type I collagen peptide from bovine and chicken hide and bone, and type II from bovine and chicken cartilage.
