Shandong Tangbaobao Biotechnology was registered on 15 December 2022 in Qufu, Shandong, and its plant sits in the Qufu economic development zone. The site covers 33,666 square metres with 13,953 square metres of buildings and employs more than 50 people across research, production and quality control. Workshops are run to GMP requirements.

Purification is by multi-stage crystallisation, introduced in 2023 to separate individual glycosides. The Reb A series runs to RA99 purity; stevioside is offered from STV40 to STV80 as a lower-cost option for mass-market products; and enzymatically glucosylated steviol glycosides are made at GSG80, GSG90 and GSG95 and above, which improves solubility and stability through processing. Reb C, Reb D and Reb M are supplied separately, along with organic stevia certified to NOP and EU standards and blends with erythritol, sucralose or monk fruit.

FSSC22000 certification was obtained in 2023, together with a Chinese medicinal filing number. The company began serving domestic customers and export markets in 2024, with applications in beverages, baked goods, confectionery, dairy, sauces, snacks, preserved fruits, pickles, sports drinks and pharmaceuticals.
