Shandong Zhengxin Food makes spice essential oils, oleoresins and water-soluble spice powders, together with compound food additives, marinades and seasoning sauces. The catalogue is arranged by botanical and covers pepper, garlic, ginger, galangal, Sichuan and green Sichuan pepper, chilli, cumin, fennel, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, star anise, celery seed, perilla and bay leaf. Industrial lines carry the Yiming brand and a retail sauce range carries Jiang Shishang.

The company was founded in July 2011 with registered capital of 10 million yuan. It runs an operations centre in the Huaiyin district of Jinan and a production base at Linqu county in Weifang, together covering 11,357 square metres. Extraction uses subcritical solvent extraction, multi-function extractors and molecular distillation, and the laboratory holds liquid chromatography, GC-MS, atomic absorption and atomic fluorescence instruments. It holds ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 certification.
