Suzhou Longhelp Nutrition Technology develops functional food and nutrient raw materials and the application solutions that go with them. Its signature ingredient is white kidney bean extract, an alpha-amylase inhibitor used in weight and blood glucose management, alongside white kidney bean fibre powder, wheat protein and naked oat protein. A gastric-volume ingredient sold as FibGel and low-GI and clean-label formulation systems are built on the same base. The company is at Room 1107, 2000 Majian Road, in the Suzhou high-tech zone, Jiangsu.

Manufacturing of the white kidney bean extract is done at its Wuxi Langjian Biotechnology plant, which has passed customer audits by Yashili of the Mengniu group and by Feihe. Quality control runs from raw material selection and incoming inspection through process control, finished product testing, storage, transport and customer feedback, with standardised and automated extraction and online monitoring for batch traceability. The company passed its annual ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and HACCP audits through the Beijing Zhongda Huayuan certification centre.

The technical team is drawn from university faculty and hospital clinicians, and work is done with the human evaluation centre of the National Engineering Research Centre for Functional Food at Jiangnan University and the clinical evaluation centre at the affiliated hospital of Jiangnan University, together with researchers at the University of Georgia and Cornell University. The company has been recognised as a national high-tech enterprise and as a Jiangsu specialised and innovative small and medium enterprise in 2025, holds a US patent granted in 2026 for a Lactobacillus strain, and took a first prize in the China General Chamber of Commerce science and technology awards for work on engineering the nutritional function of food-derived proteins.
