Synthite (Dezhou) Biotech Co., Ltd.

Synthite (Dezhou) Biotech Co., Ltd., registered in Chinese as 馨赛德（德州）生物科技有限公司, is the Chinese manufacturing arm of Synthite Industries, an Indian spice extraction group that entered the oleoresin business in 1972. The Chinese plant sits beside the chilli market at Shangzhuang in Wucheng county, part of Dezhou prefecture in Shandong, an area that trades dried chilli in volume.

The site extracts spice oleoresins, natural colours and essential oils. Products listed with the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association include paprika oleoresin and paprika red colour, capsicum oleoresin, black pepper oleoresin and black pepper oil, ginger oleoresin, turmeric oleoresin, cumin oleoresin, garlic oil, curry powder and blended curry and tandoori flavour preparations, plus a natural antioxidant sold as NEOAX.

The parent group states a range of more than 500 plant-extracted ingredients and a share of around 30 percent of the world essential oil market, with plants in India, China, Brazil, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. The Dezhou company is a spring FIC exhibitor and a separate Synthite entity is registered in Beijing.
