Xiamen Xiangquan Biotechnology makes pectin and fruit fibre. Its four series are citrus pectin, apple pectin, citrus fibre and apple fibre, running to more than forty grades between them, worked for gelling, thickening and texture and for clean label reformulation.

The pectin business started in 2009, which puts it among the earlier Chinese producers of the ingredient. The founding team moved the operation from the Huacheng biological park at Zhangzhou in Fujian to the Haicang biomedical park in Xiamen in 2021. The company sells in China and exports.
