XiYe Matcha

XiYe Matcha, registered as Anhui Shimoxiang Tea, mills tea powders. Its grades run from food-grade matcha for industrial use through green matcha powder to high-temperature roasted matcha, with ultrafine green tea and black tea powders alongside, sold to drinks, bakery, confectionery and cosmetics makers.

The company works from a tea garden at Hexi village in Hengdu, Shitai county, Chizhou, in the selenium-rich green tea country of southern Anhui, and has registered capital of 10 million yuan. It grows its own leaf rather than buying it in, and works to Uji shading and milling practice. It also trades as Yuzhi Forest Matcha (Chizhou) and exports to Europe, the United States and Japan.
