Xuchang Foison Biological Technology makes flavour nucleotides: disodium 5'-inosinate, disodium 5'-guanylate and the equal blend of the two sold as disodium 5'-ribonucleotides, or I+G.

The company was founded in 2018 and occupies 200 mu in the biomedical park at Xuchang, Henan. Its first phase covers 95 mu and is in production, with nucleotide capacity above 10,000 tonnes a year. The plant combines protein engineering, fermentation and synthetic biology, and crystallises IMP and GMP separately rather than only as the mixed salt, which lets it sell the single nucleotides as well as the blend. It was recognised as a national high-technology enterprise in 2024.
