YuCMC Co., Ltd. manufactures sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and polyanionic cellulose in the Heshan Chemical New Material Industrial Park at Heshan district, Hebi, Henan province. The plant was built on an investment of RMB 300 million and covers 113,000 square metres, with a design annual output of 30,000 tonnes of high-purity CMC and PAC.

Grades are made for several markets. Food-grade CMC is sold for thickening, dispersion stability, emulsification, suspension, film forming and water retention, and is used in alcoholic drinks, liquid beverages, jam, bread and pastry, ice cream, dairy and condiments, where it gives high viscosity at low concentration and reduces syneresis. High-substitution grades go into textile printing pastes, where acid and salt resistance and stable paste viscosity matter and where lower reactivity with reactive dyes makes desizing easier. Drilling grades are supplied as filtrate loss reducers for water-based muds. A ceramic grade is also produced.

The company runs quality control from raw material selection through production, semi-finished and finished product testing to storage. Certification covers FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, Kosher and Halal. It exhibits internationally, including at the Color and Chem Expo in Lahore, BIO Asia Taiwan and Ceramics China.
