Zhejiang Synose Tech Co., Ltd.

Zhejiang Synose Tech Co., Ltd., formerly Zhejiang Deyer Chemicals Co., Ltd., was founded in 1996 and works on carbohydrate chemistry. Sucrose ester production at the site goes back further: the project was established in 1983 and passed pilot plant trials in 1984, making it one of the earliest sucrose ester operations in China.

Current output covers sucrose fatty acid esters, including sucrose stearate and sucrose palmitate to USP, EP and Chinese Pharmacopoeia grades, polyglycerol esters of fatty acids and other emulsifier blends. Beyond food additives the company makes bitterants and aversive agents such as denatonium benzoate and denatonium saccharide, sucrose octaacetate, benzylated sugar intermediates for pharmaceutical synthesis, pharmaceutical excipients, cosmetic ingredients, light stabilisers and plasticisers, and takes on custom synthesis work.

The plant is in the healthy biological industrial park of the national Jinhua economic and technological development zone, at No. 1958 Liyu Road, Jinhua. Several products carry Chinese invention patents and the company is recognised as a national high technology enterprise. Certification covers ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000, ISO 14001, MUI halal and SKS kosher, and more than ten products have completed EU REACH registration.
