Zhucheng Huayuan Bioengineering Co., Ltd.

Zhucheng Huayuan Bio Co., Ltd. was founded in 2012 and makes erythorbic acid and sodium erythorbate, with steviol glycosides also listed. The plant is in the Mizhou subdistrict industrial zone at Zhucheng, Shandong, west of Luhe Avenue and south of Xinghua East Road, at No. 3555 Luhe Avenue.

The site covers 200 mu with 110,000 square metres of buildings and has annual capacity of 20,000 tonnes of erythorbic acid and sodium erythorbate combined. The company also serves as the eastern heat source point designated by the Zhucheng municipal government, supplying heat to nearby industrial users and residents.

Key process stages run under DCS computer control, and the company states internal product specifications tighter than the national and industry standards. Certification covers ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 22000, together with BRC, halal and kosher approval and a United States FDA registration. The two erythorbate products are recognised as food additives by the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization, the United States Food and Drug Administration, Canada and the European Union, and are sold in China and exported to the United States, Japan, the European Union and South America. The chairman is Shan Yihui.
