Guangxi Xingai Biological Technology makes mineral food additives based on calcium carbonate: ground (heavy) calcium carbonate in mesh grades from 325 up to 3,500, precipitated (light) calcium carbonate, and directly compressible calcium carbonate granules sold as a compound nutrient fortifier. The material goes into food, supplements, pharmaceuticals, toothpaste and chewing gum.

The company started in February 2014 and manufactures at the Subo industrial park in Mashan County, Nanning, on a site of 40 mu whose first-phase building covers about 8,400 square metres. It runs a small operation of roughly 28 people, concentrated on the carbonate line rather than a broad additive catalogue.
