Hebei Huahe Food Technology makes food-grade EDTA salts. Disodium EDTA is the main product, with calcium disodium EDTA and ferric sodium EDTA alongside it. These are chelating agents that bind the trace metals which would otherwise catalyse oxidation and colour loss in dressings, canned vegetables and soft drinks, while the iron salt doubles as a fortification source in flour and condiments.

The company started at the beginning of 2023 and manufactures at Baoding, Hebei. It is a young operation with a deliberately narrow catalogue, and says it is extending the EDTA line into related food additives while it opens export sales.
