Jiaxing Zhonghua Chemical Co., Ltd. is a vanillin producer in Daqiao Town, Nanhu District, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. It was founded in 1976 as Jiaxing Zhonghua Chemical Works and has operated under its current name as a provincial enterprise group. The company reports total assets of two billion yuan, around 800 employees and an industrial park of more than 500 mu with its own power, steam and water supply.

Vanillin is the main business and the company has built a vertically integrated chain around it. The catalogue covers vanillin, ethyl vanillin, guaiacol, ortho-vanillin and glyoxylic acid. Stated annual capacity is 9,000 tonnes of methyl vanillin, 1,000 tonnes of ethyl vanillin and 12,000 tonnes of guaiacol.

More than 90 percent of the main products are exported, with markets named as the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Turkey, France, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Product uses span food, pharmaceutical and household chemical applications. The registered trademark Jiuzhu is recognised as a Chinese well-known trademark and a Zhejiang export brand, and Jiuzhu vanillin is a Zhejiang famous-brand product. The company is listed among China's top 500 chemical enterprises.
