Shandong Qufeng Food Tech Co., Ltd.

Shandong Qufeng was set up in 2012 to process wheat, part of a national policy push into deep processing of the crop, and it operates near Qingyun Lake at Anqiu in Weifang, Shandong. The site covers more than 400 mu, about 27 hectares, and the company employs over 300 people. Annual wheat throughput is up to 800,000 tonnes against output value of around CNY 2 billion.

The plant was approved in March 2012, commissioned in October 2013 and reached normal operation that December, with a second phase started in May 2014. In May 2015 it was named in the first group of Food Safety Shandong demonstration processors. The corporate name changed from Shandong Qufeng Food Technology to Shandong Qufeng Biotechnology in June 2026.

Main products are vital wheat gluten and wheat starch, with refined wheat core flour, dried wheat core noodles and alcohol made alongside. Wheat bran, wheat germ, biogas and activated sludge are recovered as by-products. Separation uses imported three-phase decanter equipment and drying systems in place of the older Martin settling process, with stainless steel equipment and an enclosed process. Certification covers ISO9001, ISO22000, kosher and halal.
