Shandong Xiangrui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

Shandong Xiangrui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is a corn wet-milling and glucose producer based in Dongping County, Tai'an, Shandong Province. Company records show it was registered with the Dongping County administration in April 2005. It was previously named Shandong Ruixing Starch Co., Ltd. and took its current name in March 2006. It operates as one of the core manufacturing units of Ruixing Group Co., Ltd., a Shandong group with interests in fertiliser, grain storage and processing, and pharmaceutical raw materials.

The plant processes corn into pharmaceutical-grade and food-grade corn starch, pharmaceutical glucose, oral glucose, edible glucose, anhydrous glucose and medicinal dextrin, along with the co-products of wet milling: corn gluten meal, corn germ, corn fibre and corn steep liquor. The China Food Additives and Ingredients Association lists annual production capacity for corn starch and for glucose at 500,000 tonnes each. In 2024 the company filed an environmental assessment for a monosodium glutamate plant of 300,000 tonnes a year on the existing site, fed by its own high-purity liquid glucose.

The company reports registered capital of 150 million yuan, a site of about 170,000 square metres, total assets of 1.2 billion yuan and roughly 600 employees, with annual sales near 2 billion yuan. It holds GMP and SC certification, single-feed registration, kosher certification and IFANCA halal certification, and has self-managed import and export rights. It is recognised as a national key high-tech enterprise and a Shandong Province key enterprise for agricultural industrialisation.
