Shanghai Enlogics Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Shanghai Enlogics Biotechnology was set up in September 2022 and is registered in the Lingang New Area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, with offices in the Lingang Nanqiao Technology Oasis in Fengxian district. It succeeded Zhejiang Lvchuang Biotechnology, founded in 2015, and works as a synthetic biology company producing natural product equivalents by fermentation and enzyme catalysis. Registered capital is given as RMB 18.25 million on the English page and RMB 21.64 million on the Chinese one.

The product range covers natural flavours, chiral amino acids, dietary supplement ingredients, cosmetic actives and pharmaceutical intermediates, which is where the natural vanillin, calcium alpha-ketoglutarate and Reb M listed here sit. The group runs through five subsidiaries split by function across research, pilot-scale trials, production and sales: Shanghai Yinuoxin, Zhejiang Lvchuang, Anhui Yinuojike, Youerke (Beijing) and Shanghai Yinuoyu.

Founder Chu Xiaohe previously served as chief engineer at listed Shenghua Baike Biotechnology and general manager of Jiufu Biochemical, and chief scientist Ye Bangce is a professor at the School of Bioengineering, East China University of Science and Technology. More than 60 percent of staff hold a bachelor's degree or higher and over 40 work directly in R&D. The certificates shown include ISO 9001, HACCP, Kosher and an FDA registration, with the Anhui plant listed as having passed QMS and HACCP audits. Angel and A-round financing totalling close to RMB 300 million has been completed.
