Sichuan Shifang Dingli Phosphorus Chemical Co., Ltd.

Sichuan Shifang Dingli Phosphorus Chemical was founded in September 2001 in the northern part of the Shifang Economic Development Zone in Sichuan, and produces phosphoric acid and phosphate salts. Its first line, for phosphoric acid, was built in the founding year; phosphate salt production, starting with potassium phosphates, was added in 2005. The company draws on the phosphate rock reserves of southwest China and holds its own import and export rights.

The range has grown from industrial-grade phosphates into food grade and into battery-grade materials for the new energy sector. Products listed here, the ammonium, potassium and sodium phosphates and phosphoric acid, sit in the food and technical grades. Export began in 2005 with shipments to the Netherlands for agricultural use, and the company states that more than 90 percent of output now goes to over 30 countries and regions.

Dingli joined the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association in 2014 and obtained a REACH certificate for the European market in the same year. It has since obtained ISO 9001 certification, and its process work on battery-grade monoammonium phosphate was recognised under a 2016 Sichuan provincial technology programme for small and medium-sized technology enterprises. Phosphoric acid and phosphate lines have been rebuilt and expanded since.
