Xinjiang Linseed Biologic Technologies Co., Ltd. (新疆利世得生物科技有限公司) was founded in 1998 and produces flaxseed gum, flaxseed extract and related flax products at a site on the north side of the bypass road at Gongliu County in the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang.

The company holds its own patented process for flaxseed gum and states that in 2002 it was the first in China to reach commercial-scale output of a high-viscosity grade. In 2009 it invested more than 40 million yuan in a production line rated at 3,000 tonnes of flaxseed gum a year. It took part in drafting the Chinese industry standard for flaxseed gum.

Work on applications covers the use of flaxseed gum in meat products, dairy, beverages, frozen desserts and flour-based foods. Alongside flaxseed gum the company lists flaxseed extract, flaxseed oil and compound thickeners, and sells gum under the Lvqi brand.
