Zhuangmei Biotech

Hubei Zhuangmei Biological Technology Co., Ltd., which trades as Zhuangmei Biotech, produces food additives at the economic development zone in Hanchuan, Hubei Province, about 40 kilometres from Hankou railway station in Wuhan. It handles research, development and marketing alongside manufacturing.

Its main lines are lactic acid and lactate salts, covering lactic acid, calcium lactate, lactic acid powder, sodium lactate and sodium lactate powder, and buffered lactic acid. It also makes water-soluble and oil-soluble coated organic acids, including coated citric acid, coated malic acid, coated fumaric acid and coated sorbic acid, used in food, pharmaceutical and materials applications.

The plant holds ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 certification, MUI Halal certification and Star-K Kosher certification, and its products are sold in a number of countries.
