ACE Biotechnology researches and manufactures botanical extracts and food powders, with a catalogue the company puts at more than 300 natural ingredients drawn from herbs, spices, fruits, vegetables, mushrooms and seaweeds. Alongside standardised extracts such as American ginseng, cornus and lotus leaf, the range covers organic mushroom material, fruit and vegetable powders, herb and spice powders, and tea and beverage ingredients.

The company works across the whole chain rather than buying finished extract. It takes part in cultivation and wildcraft harvesting, processes fresh plant material through to standardised extracts, and runs quality control from the field soil to the finished batch. It also holds ready-to-ship stock backed by in-house or third-party laboratory reports, which it uses to support short lead times. Facilities operate under ISO 9001, HACCP and FSSC, with Kosher, Halal, USDA Organic and CFDA certification in addition.

ACE is based at Yulong Road in the Tianyi Demonstration Zone at Xiangtan, Hunan, and trades internationally under the Hunan ACE Biotechnology name. Its recent activity has been weighted towards export markets and clinical substantiation: the company reports a completed human clinical trial on blood glucose management, and it has exhibited at Vitafoods Europe as well as at the domestic FIC and FBIF shows. Its site is published in ten languages, including Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Portuguese, which reflects where it sells.
