Anhui Rongda Food Co., Ltd.

Anhui Rongda Food is the egg processing arm of Rongda Poultry Co., Ltd., which was founded in November 1999 and is quoted on China's New Third Board. The parent runs an integrated operation covering layer breeding, parent stock, commercial egg production, deep processing of egg products, poultry meat and organic fertiliser. It is a national key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialisation, a national layer core breeding farm, and the host unit for a comprehensive experiment station of the national layer industry technology system.

The processing plant is at Guangde County in southern Anhui, at the meeting point of Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang, within two hours of Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing and Hefei. Total investment exceeds 100 million yuan and first-phase egg product capacity is 15,000 tonnes a year, part of a group deep-processing capability of 20,000 tonnes. Lines were designed and built to food GMP standards with fully automated operation. Products are egg powder, liquid egg, seasoned egg granules, lysozyme and egg yolk immunoglobulin, which places the heat-stable and hydrolysed yolk fractions and the lysozyme in the same fractionation stream.

Every egg entering the plant comes from the group's own farms, which hold more than three million layers, including the company-bred Fengda No. 1 layer cross approved as a new national variety. The plant holds ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 certification, a food production licence, registration as an export food producer, EU export approval and Halal certification.
