Hebei Yunsheng Biotechnology makes synthetic sweeteners. Saccharin is the main line, sold as sodium saccharin in the usual dihydrate form, as anhydrous sodium saccharin and as insoluble saccharin, the free acid used where a sodium-free form is wanted, with sodium cyclamate beside it. The material goes into food, drinks and feed, and the company handles its own import and export.

The company started in May 2015 at the Daocaozhuang industrial park in Ningjin County, Xingtai, Hebei, on a site of 25 mu with registered capital of 20 million yuan and around 48 staff. Sweetener development and application work runs alongside production.
