Henan Mingtian Food extracts natural spices. Its output falls into three forms, essential oils, oleoresins and fine ground spice powders, and the main lines are ginger oil and gingerols and Zanthoxylum, the Sichuan pepper whose oil carries both the aroma and the tingling pungency used in Chinese seasoning.

The company works at Nanyang in south west Henan and runs supercritical carbon dioxide extraction and molecular distillation, the two processes that separate heat-sensitive aroma compounds from spice material without solvent residue and then concentrate them. It develops grades to customer specification and gives technical support on how they are dosed.
