Hengliang Apiculture

Zhejiang Jiangshan Hengliang Bee Products Co., Ltd., which trades as Hengliang Apiculture, was founded in 1997 at Jiangshan in Zhejiang Province. It produces, sells and researches bee products, with more than thirty items in its range including royal jelly and lyophilized royal jelly powder, bee pollen, honey, propolis softgels and royal jelly softgels.

The company operates close to 700 apiaries holding around 90,000 colonies, and has run a traceability system from the hive onward. It began building beekeeping bases to European Union organic farming rules in 2002 and was certified for organic royal jelly by ECOCERT that year.

Hengliang has been designated a national key agricultural leading enterprise. Its royal jelly exports ranked first in China for fourteen consecutive years.
