Lianyungang Dikang Food Additive Factory

Lianyungang Dikang Food Additive Factory makes mineral salts. Its output is magnesium chloride, magnesium sulphate, potassium chloride, ferrous sulphate and monopotassium phosphate, the salts used for mineral fortification, firming and processing aids. Magnesium chloride of this kind also serves as a tofu coagulant, and potassium chloride goes into salt reduction blends.

The works was founded in 1989 at Lianyungang on the Jiangsu coast, next to the port and the motorways running west, and it runs a 2,500 tonne a year line of refined magnesium chloride made specifically for sea water crystal, the salt used in marine aquariums and seafood holding tanks.
