Ningbo Dahongying Bio-Engineering Co., Ltd. (宁波大红鹰生物工程股份有限公司) was established in 2001 and is at 166 Beihai Road, Xiepu, Zhenhai District, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. It is a privately owned high-tech enterprise producing biological preparations for the food, feed, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

The plant separates natural vitamin E and phytosterol from edible vegetable oil deodoriser distillate. Rated annual capacity is 100 tonnes of natural vitamin E concentrate oil across several grades, 70 tonnes of 90 percent phytosterol and 900 tonnes of fatty acid methyl ester. Mixed tocopherols and beta-carotene are also produced. Output is exported to the United States, Canada, Australia and countries in Europe.

The company is certified to ISO 9001, HACCP and FSSC 22000, and holds twelve invention patents and nine utility model patents. It has developed finished supplement capsules jointly with the health food efficacy evaluation centre of the Institute of Nutrition and Food Safety under the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association.
