Rushan Hualong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (乳山市华隆生物科技股份有限公司) was established in 2012 in Rushan, a county-level city under Weihai in Shandong Province. It develops, produces and sells bioactive peptides.

Its products are soybean peptide, peanut peptide, oyster peptide, corn peptide and collagen peptide. Dedicated capacity is 3,000 tonnes a year on the soybean peptide line and 500 tonnes a year on the oyster peptide line, with combined protein peptide capacity of over 3,000 tonnes. Total investment in the peptide plant is stated at 150 million RMB. In its founding year the company entered a research agreement with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to develop bioactive peanut peptides from peanut meal.

It operates a 1,000 square metre peptide research centre holding more than 200 instruments, including high performance liquid chromatography, near infrared analysers and atomic absorption spectrometers, which allows it to run full specification testing in house. Certifications held are ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 and international Halal. The company is designated a national high-tech enterprise and holds Shandong provincial specialised and innovative small and medium enterprise status. It is listed in the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association directory.
