Thankcome Biological Science and Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was founded in 2016 and works across the probiotics chain, from strain research to production and sales. Its registered address is at Zhangpu in Kunshan, part of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. It is a majority-held subsidiary of Bejaded, listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange under code 603059, and is registered as a high and new technology enterprise.

The company runs two research centres, at Suzhou in Jiangsu and Suzhou in Anhui, and one production base at Suzhou in Anhui. Planned capacity is 200 tonnes a year of probiotic strain powder and 2,000 tonnes a year of probiotic preparations and related products.

Its strains include Akkermansia muciniphila, sold as AKK PROBIO, Bacillus coagulans BC01, and Lactobacillus plantarum S58, alongside other Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium species. Thankcome reports 105 granted Chinese invention patents, 4 PCT patents, 4 Australian and 11 Hong Kong patents, 63 published papers of which 53 are indexed in SCI journals, and 29 clinical studies it has led.
