Suntree (Xiamen) Biological Engineering Co., Ltd. (太阳树（厦门）生物工程有限公司) was registered on 24 November 2014 in the Haicang District of Xiamen, Fujian Province. Its office is in the Xiamen Biomedical Industrial Park on West Wengjiao Road, and registered capital is about 29.2 million yuan. Manufacturing runs at sites in Xiamen and Putian.

The company extracts active compounds from botanical raw material, much of it imported rather than grown in China. It has built buying operations in West Africa and lists four raw material procurement bases.
