Zhejiang Ruibang Laboratories

Zhejiang Ruibang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established in 1956 as a maker of active pharmaceutical ingredients and now covers research, manufacturing and sale of APIs and finished forms including tablets, granules and soft capsules. Its manufacturing base is at No. 578 Binhai Tenth Road in the economic and technological development zone at Wenzhou, Zhejiang, on a site of about 70,000 square metres with more than 300 staff. By the end of 2020 the company held 38 patents.

Food grade gluconates are made at a separate facility built in Jiangsu province in 2004, which produces the calcium, magnesium, potassium and zinc gluconate range. The company opened a United States operation in 2006. Its processes combine fermentation and chemical synthesis, with fermentation capacity of more than 1,500 cubic metres.

Ruibang is registered with the United States Food and Drug Administration and holds Chinese GMP certification under number ZJ20150133, together with EDQM certification, STAR-K kosher certification and a halal certificate from the American Halal Foundation under number HPR 1786-Ch.
