Hubei Zixin Biological Technology Co., Ltd.

Hubei Zixin Biological Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in December 2008 and works on natural colours, colour-rich foods and plant extracts. Its plant is in the Chongren industrial park of the Huangjinshan industrial new district in Huangshi, Hubei. Buildings total 25,000 square metres, the technical centre occupies 1,200 square metres and cold storage covers 800 square metres.

Processing runs through extraction, pressing, separation and purification, concentration and drying, and UHT aseptic cold filling, in workshops built to food GMP standards. The catalogue is organised into a juice and powder series, which includes purple carrot concentrated juice and powder, a natural pigment series, and a black rice series that has become the focus of the company's own vertical integration work, extending to black rice concentrated juice, baked goods and spirits.

Zixin describes a whole-chain approach and has set up raw material growing bases in several locations. It is a council member of the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association and works with Hubei University of Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan Polytechnic University and the National University of Singapore. Certification covers ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, kosher and halal. Products go into food, pharmaceuticals, health products and cosmetics, and are sold in China and abroad.
