Jiangsu TUA makes biological food preservatives. Its core products are natamycin, sold at 95 per cent and as 50 per cent dilutions in glucose, lactose and sodium chloride, and nisin. Around these it builds compound preservatives for particular applications, among them meat products, bread, cakes, modified-atmosphere packed foods and pickled vegetables, together with compound humectants.

The company runs its plant in the east zone of the Guannan Economic Development Zone at Lianyungang, Jiangsu, and keeps a sales office in Suzhou. Key production areas are built as class 10,000 clean rooms, and the company works by physical processing without organic solvents. It holds ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 certification, and its application team formulates preservative systems around a customer's recipe, process and plant conditions.
