Luoyang Lansealy Technology works on licorice. It cuts and mills the root into sticks, peeled sticks, round and diagonal slices, granules and fine powder, and extracts it into block extract, extract powder and fluid extract. The refined derivatives are glycyrrhizic acid, monoammonium glycyrrhizinate in three grades, monopotassium, dipotassium and tripotassium glycyrrhizinate, licorice sweeteners, licorice flavonoids, glabridin and licochalcone A, sold into food, personal care and livestock feed.

The company has spent about twenty years on licorice and runs eight processing bases across China, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. It farms roughly 4,000 hectares of its own growing area in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Xinjiang and holds a raw material reserve it puts at 50,000 tonnes. Its Chinese plant is in the industrial cluster of Luoning County, Luoyang, Henan.
