SUNRISE FOOD INGREDIENTS (HUAI NAN) Co., Ltd.

Sunrise Food Ingredients (Huai Nan) Co., Ltd., registered in Chinese as Huainan Dongrun Food Technology Co., Ltd., manufactures food additives at the Shangyao industrial park in the Datong district of Huainan, Anhui Province.

Its output is built around acetate salts made by a route the company describes as natural, covering sodium diacetate, sodium acetate, calcium acetate and potassium diacetate, alongside propionates such as calcium propionate, and citrate and phosphate salts. The company positions the natural acetates for clean label formulation, where they are used as preservatives.

Stated annual output of natural acetates is 15,000 tonnes, with exports to more than 30 countries and territories. Production runs in a GMP workshop of 3,000 square metres, and the company offers custom specifications. It is listed in the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association directory as a spring FIC exhibitor.
