Tengzhou Luhu Biological Technology Co., Ltd. develops, manufactures and sells food additives, feed additives and biological products. It is based in the Lunan high-technology chemical park at Mushi town, Tengzhou, Shandong Province, where the related Shandong Luhu Biological Technology Co., Ltd. also operates.

Production is organised in three preservative families: benzoates, propionates and acetates. The plant runs one production line for each family, with more than 180 sets of reaction and crystallisation equipment and its own water, power, steam and refrigeration utilities. Stated annual capacity is 15,000 tonnes of benzoate products, 20,000 tonnes of propionate products and 15,000 tonnes of acetate products.

The company states that its output meets the Chinese HG 2921-1999 standard, the US Food Chemicals Codex fourth edition, FAO and WHO specifications, and British Pharmacopoeia 1998 and 2000. Certification covers ISO 9001, ISO 22000, Kosher and Halal. Beyond food and feed use, it lists pharmaceutical, pigment and electroplating applications.
