Zhucheng Haotian Pharma Co., Ltd.

Zhucheng Haotian Pharm Co., Ltd. now trades as HOWTIAN. It started in 1999 as an inositol manufacturer at Zhucheng in Shandong and has grown into a producer of plant based ingredients for food and beverage, supplements, pharmaceuticals, personal care, animal nutrition and agriculture. It employs over 1,000 people and sells into more than 80 countries.

Inositol remains a core line, made from corn grown in Shandong through a vertically integrated process, with capacity reaching 6,000 tonnes a year. The family covers myo-inositol, D-chiro-inositol, scyllo-inositol, inositol hexanicotinate and D-glucuronolactone, the last of which started at 2,000 tonnes a year of capacity. Stevia is sold under the SoPure name; the start-up of Dongtai Hirye Biotechnology took group stevia capacity to 8,000 tonnes and made the company the largest stevia leaf processor and natural stevia extract producer in the world by its own account. Baicalin, PQQ under the PureQQ name and camellia saponin under the SAPIEN name complete the range.

Supply runs from proprietary seedling development and contracted farms through to extraction, and the company operates a central research centre with five development laboratories and technical teams that work on customer formulations. Its D-chiro-inositol won a natural ingredients award at CPHI China in 2026.
