Anqing Zhongchuang ENG.Co., Ltd.

Anqing Zhongchuang Engineering was founded in 1996 and makes high-end lecithin. Unusually for the sector it also designs and builds lecithin plant: the company develops complete engineering packages, manufactures the equipment and carries out installation and commissioning, as well as running its own production.

Two wholly owned subsidiaries, Anhui Yung Trump Phospholipid Sci-Tech and Anhui ZC Lecithin Sci-Tech, cover 80,000 square metres between them. Installed lecithin capacity is 14,000 tonnes a year across four lines: a 3,000-tonne and a 10,000-tonne transparent lecithin line, a 500-tonne powdered lecithin line and a 500-tonne line for high-phosphatidylcholine grades. The company has stated plans to add a 20,000-tonne transparent liquid lecithin line, a 4,000-tonne powder line and a 1,000-tonne high-PC line within three years. The product range covers soy, sunflower, transparent, modified, enzyme-modified, non-GMO and capsule-grade lecithin.

Zhongchuang is recognised as a national high-tech enterprise and has built a 2,000 square metre research and development centre for high-end lecithin, holding dozens of national patents; its high-end lecithin products are rated provincial high-tech products. The company puts its share of the Chinese high-end lecithin market at about 70 percent under the Zhongchuang brand, and exports to Australia, Japan, Singapore, Turkey, Canada, Southeast Asia and South America. The works are on Weiwu Road in the Daqiao Development Zone at Anqing, Anhui.
