Guangdong Audima Bio-Tech Co., Ltd. produces gelatin and collagen in Huazhou, a county-level city under Maoming in Guangdong Province and the largest tilapia farming area in China. The business began in the 1990s making chitin, chitosan and glucosamine, and moved into gelatin in the early 2000s when its founder started converting tilapia processing waste into higher value products. The fish gelatin plant was completed in 2012 and a fish collagen line was added in 2015.

Stated annual capacity is 23,000 tonnes of gelatin and 2,500 tonnes of collagen. Output covers fish gelatin, sold under the Fisgel brand, fish collagen peptide, and gelatin and collagen peptide made from animal skin and bone. The company also supplies fish gelatin for softgel encapsulation.

Certification covers HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, Kosher and Halal, and the company holds EU approval; its Halal certification is recorded by IFANCA. Export markets given are Japan, South Korea, Thailand, the United States, South American countries, New Zealand and the European Union.
