Hebei Harmony Amino Acid Co., Ltd. supplies food and pharmaceutical grade amino acids, nutritional ingredients and functional flavouring materials. It is based at the Tianshan Science Park on Changjiang Road in Shijiazhuang, Hebei.

The amino acid range covers glycine, alanine, methionine, threonine, lysine hydrochloride, tryptophan, phenylalanine, proline, serine, cysteine and its hydrochloride, glutamic acid, glutamine, cystine, arginine and arginine hydrochloride, tyrosine, leucine, valine, isoleucine, histidine and its hydrochloride, and taurine. Sweeteners handled include aspartame, acesulfame potassium, sucralose and compound sweetener blends. The company also sells peptide and amino acid based nutritional formulations, functional supplements, infant and toddler nutritional foods, compound seasonings and amino acid functional additives, and takes on contract formulation work.

The company states that production is run to GMP and ISO 22000 requirements and that more than 70 per cent of output is exported, to Europe, the United States, Japan and South Korea. Products sold within China are made to Chinese national standards, while export material is made to United States or European food grade specifications adapted to the food law of the destination country. Goods carry the company's Harmony and Huimei trademarks or, where agreed, a distributor's own mark.
