Inner Mongolia Taihao Biological Products Co., Ltd. (内蒙古肽好生物制品有限责任公司) was founded in 2000 and is based on Beijing Road in Xilinhot, the seat of Xilingol League in Inner Mongolia. It sits in a livestock region and takes fresh bone, blood and organ material from cattle, horses, sheep, camels and deer as its feedstock.

The company hydrolyses that material into small-molecule active peptides. It lists fifteen categories of peptide raw material drawn from bone, blood and organs, including bovine bone marrow peptide, myocardial peptide, liver, lung and renal peptides and bovine whip peptide. Finished goods built on those raw materials run to more than 200 items across peptide ingredients, health foods, general foods and cosmetics.

Production is housed in class 100,000 clean rooms with separate extraction, powder preparation and liquid workshops. Two extraction lines give a stated capacity of 500 tonnes a year of peptide raw material, two solid beverage lines 400 tonnes, and five liquid beverage lines 30,000 tonnes. Cumulative investment is reported at 350 million yuan. Taihao holds national high-technology enterprise status and national intellectual property advantage enterprise status, operates a peptide research centre recognised by the autonomous region, and has taken part in the national Spark and Torch programmes. It has affiliated operations in Guangdong, Beijing, Zhejiang and Hainan.
