New Tuoyang Bio-engineering turns corn into vitamins and functional sugars. Its five product families are sodium erythorbate and erythorbic acid, vitamin C, vitamin K2, D-ribose and D-mannose, and the catalogue also carries sialic acid and DHA. Customers use these as antioxidants in meat and drinks, as nutrient fortifiers, and as raw materials for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and feed.

The company was registered in October 2018 in Shancheng District, Hebi, Henan, as the relocated successor to Zhengzhou Tuoyang Industrial. Henan Biological Industry Group, part of the state-owned Henan Investment Group, holds the controlling stake. The site covers 383 mu, roughly 25 hectares, took investment of about 1.2 billion yuan, and carries four production lines: sodium erythorbate, vitamin C, vitamin K2 and a functional sugar plant. Every product starts from corn deep processing.
