Shandong Fuyang Biotechonlogy Co., Ltd.

Shandong Fuyang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a corn deep-processing and fermentation company founded in 2009 and located in the east zone of the Longmen Economic Development Zone in Pingyuan County, Dezhou, Shandong Province. Its site covers about 400 mu, roughly 267,000 square metres. It is registered as a national high-tech enterprise and a Shandong Province key enterprise for agricultural industrialisation, and its warehouse is an approved delivery point for corn starch futures.

Production is built around a corn processing line rated at one million tonnes of grain a year, from which the company makes native corn starch and wet-milling co-products. Downstream units include a sodium gluconate plant of 250,000 tonnes a year and a modified starch plant of 100,000 tonnes a year, supported by an on-site combined heat and power installation. The company also ferments sugar alcohols and rare sugars, listing erythritol, trehalose and D-allulose among its products, alongside glucono delta lactone.

Output is sold across China and exported to more than 40 countries and territories, with Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America and Africa named as export markets. The company converted to a joint-stock structure and in 2023 filed a prospectus for a listing on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, seeking to raise 831 million yuan for capacity expansion, including allulose.
