Shandong Jindu Talin Foods was established in 1990 in the economic and technological development zone of Zhaoyuan, Shandong. It reports fixed assets of CNY 280 million and more than 300 employees.

The plant runs on peas imported from Canada, the United States and Russia. Annual output is more than 7,000 tonnes of food-grade pea protein isolate at 80 to 85 per cent protein together with enzymatically hydrolysed pea protein, 21,000 tonnes of pea starch and 20,000 tonnes of Longkou vermicelli. Pea protein concentrate and textured pea protein are made on the same base, and the starch fraction feeds the vermicelli lines. Vermicelli is sold under the company's own Talin and Xiangsiyuan brands.

Separation combines impact, collision and shear milling with air classification to strip out pea fibre before protein and starch are separated, then refines the fractions through multiple purification stages, flash sterilisation and homogenisation. Certification covers ISO9001, HACCP, BRC, kosher, halal and organic. Products go to more than 20 countries, among them Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, France, the United States, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Germany and Canada, and the company exhibits at Food Ingredients Asia and SupplySide West.
