Shandong Wanjia Food makes monosodium glutamate, chicken essence and chicken powder seasoning, corn starch and other compound seasonings, running to more than fifty lines. Besides standard and salt-free MSG the range takes in beef and edible mushroom seasoning powders, soup cubes and cooking starches, sold under the Tenghua and Wanjiayuan brands.

The company started in 2004 at Tengzhou in Zaozhuang, Shandong, and works a site of more than 80,000 square metres with around 640 staff. It puts annual output at over 50,000 tonnes of MSG and more than 10,000 tonnes of chicken essence. Its MSG and chicken essence production holds ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 HACCP certification. The company sells across 30 Chinese provinces and municipalities and exports to more than 20 countries, mainly in Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia and Central Asia.
