Wanxiang Technology Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001 and works on the research, manufacture and sale of aroma chemicals. It runs production bases at Huai'an in Jiangsu, Shizuishan in Ningxia and Pudong in Shanghai, with sales offices in North America, Europe and Asia.

The main products are methyl dihydrojasmonate, ambroxide, l-carvone, ethyl maltol and a mint oil series, used in flavours and fragrances, household and personal care products, and food and drink. The company states long-running supply relationships with Firmenich, Givaudan, IFF, Mane and Symrise, and with Colgate, Procter and Gamble and Mars Wrigley. Products are sold in more than 30 countries across six continents.

Technical infrastructure includes a Jiangsu recognised enterprise technology centre, a Jiangsu engineering technology research centre for flavours and fragrances, a provincial engineering research centre, a Jiangsu graduate workstation and a postdoctoral research station. The company has led or taken part in the drafting of five industry standards and six national standards, and holds patents including a preparation method for ambroxide. It was awarded High-tech Enterprise certificates in August 2015 and November 2018, and its methyl dihydrojasmonate line has been named a Jiangsu demonstration smart workshop.
