Zhengzhou Ruipu Biological Engineering makes mineral nutrient fortificants. Its calcium, iron and zinc salts include calcium citrate and calcium citrate malate, ferrous fumarate, ferric pyrophosphate and ferric sodium EDTA, and zinc citrate and zinc gluconate. Compound premixes and custom nutrient blends built on these sit alongside the single salts, for dairy, health food and medical nutrition work.

The company was founded in 1998 and runs two plants, at Zhengzhou and Baofeng in Henan, with close to 10,000 square metres of workshops built to GMP standards. Its process work covers chelation, ultra-low lead and arsenic purification, microencapsulation and microcrystallisation. It holds ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, kosher and halal certification, keeps a CNAS-accredited laboratory and a provincial engineering research centre, and sells into more than 100 countries.
