Organic Stevia Leaf Extract
Organic Stevia Leaf Extract is a steviol glycoside extract produced from certified organic Stevia rebaudiana leaf, using only inputs and processing aids that meet organic regulations.
The finished product is comparable in sweetness and chemistry to conventional stevia extract, but the supply chain is documented and audited from seed through finished powder against USDA NOP, EU Organic, or equivalent standards.
We source bulk Organic Stevia Leaf Extract from top China manufacturers for our partners. The manufacturer is in Hunan. For this ingredient the minimum order is 500 kg and a 20-foot container takes 8 MT, and a smaller requirement can ship in a combined container with other ingredients.
Please send the grade you need, the volume and your destination port, and we will come back with a solution and a price.

Common Markets Grades
Organic Stevia Leaf Extract is graded by total steviol glycoside (TSG) content and by glycoside profile.
The most common grades are organic stevia extract at 80, 90, and 95 percent TSG. The 95 percent grade is the threshold required for the purified steviol glycosides specification.
Within these grades, Reb A enriched cuts at 40, 60, and 80 percent of TSG exist where a cleaner sweet profile is required.
Organic Reb A 95 and 98 percent grades are produced for premium beverage, dairy, and supplement use.
Because organic rules restrict the use of synthetic macroporous resins and some processing aids, organic grades typically rely on ethanol and water extraction with food-grade activated carbon and natural ion exchange media.

How We Help Source Organic Stevia Leaf Extract
Direct Factory Sourcing
We run the whole process: selecting the manufacturer from the top Chinese food ingredient producers, negotiating the price, verifying quality, and coordinating the logistics. You deal with us instead of with several factories at once.
Original Packaging and Documents from the Manufacturer
The manufacturer sends your Organic Stevia Leaf Extract out of its own factory in the original packing, through to your destination port. The COA, COO, MSDS, TDS and any certifications reach you from the manufacturer as well.
Free Samples and Lead Time
We send 100 to 500 g free for your own laboratory to test and you cover only the courier, usually within 2 to 3 working days. ETD is usually within 7 to 15 days once the order is confirmed, and we check that date against the factory's own manufacturing schedule before we give it to you.
Combined Shipment
We can load Organic Stevia Leaf Extract together with other ingredients such as Stevia, Erythritol and Maltitol into one 20' FCL. If your quantity is small, we can also ship LCL.
Regulatory Status
Organic Stevia Leaf Extract carries the same food additive status as conventional stevia, with the additional layer of organic certification.
In the European Union it is covered under E960 with the appropriate sub-listing, and the organic claim is governed by EU Regulation 2018/848. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration accepts high-purity steviol glycosides under multiple GRAS notices, while the USDA National Organic Program (7 CFR 205) governs the organic claim.
JECFA has set a permanent specification for steviol glycosides and an acceptable daily intake expressed as steviol that applies regardless of organic status.
Certifications routinely held include USDA NOP, EU Organic, COR (Canada), and JAS (Japan). Kosher and Halal certifications are normally offered alongside the organic certificates.
Manufacturing Process
Production begins on certified organic farms, typically in Paraguay, Kenya, Tanzania, India, or selected provinces in China and Brazil. The land must be free of prohibited inputs for at least three years before harvest.
Harvested leaf is dried in covered, ventilated drying houses to preserve glycoside content and colour. Dried leaf is then transported to a certified organic processing site.
Extraction is carried out with hot water or aqueous food-grade ethanol. The crude extract is decolorised with activated carbon, which is permitted under organic rules, and purified through approved natural ion exchange and adsorption media.
The enriched glycoside fraction is concentrated under vacuum, optionally crystallised in aqueous ethanol, and spray dried. Every step is logged against the organic system plan and verified during annual audits.
