Guangdong Cardlo Biotechnology Co., Ltd., registered in Chinese as Guangdong Jiadele Technology, makes ester functional materials and is designated a national specialised and innovative little giant enterprise. In 2022 it was awarded a national 14th Five-Year Plan key research project.

Its research and production base is in the Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, built with imported equipment at a total investment of more than 100 million yuan. The head office is at Floor 7, units E and F, North Tower, Ruihua Building, No. 267 Wushan Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou. Production covers distilled monoglycerides, water-soluble monoglycerides, mono- and diglycerides in powder and bead form, glycerol monolaurate, polyglycerol esters, sorbitan esters in the Span series, cake gels, bread emulsifier pastes and compound emulsifiers. Alongside the food range the company makes plastics additives including pentaerythritol stearate and ethylene bis-stearamide.

Cardlo has been recognised as a national high-tech enterprise, holds an industry-university-research base with South China University of Technology and a postdoctoral innovation practice base, and has been named a Guangzhou strategic emerging industry demonstration base and among the city's hundred most innovative enterprises. It chairs the Guangdong Enterprise Innovation and Development Association.
