Henan Honghui Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2013 to make lactate salts and compounded natural preservative systems. It sits at the intersection of National Highway 106 and Yifeng Road in Huaiyang District, Zhoukou, Henan.

The company began building a modern production base in 2021 and brought it into operation in May 2023. Total investment was RMB 150 million, the site covers 23,000 square metres with 25,000 square metres of floor area, annual capacity is above 20,000 tonnes and stated annual output value is RMB 300 million. Headcount is over 80, including a 16-person research team.

The catalogue runs from lactic acid at 80 and 88 percent through a lactate series that takes in 60 percent lactic acid powder, calcium lactate powder and pentahydrate, calcium lactate gluconate, sodium, potassium and magnesium lactate, ferrous lactate trihydrate, zinc lactate and buffered lactic acid. A separate acetate and diacetate line covers sodium and potassium acetate, sodium diacetate and potassium diacetate, and a blend series combines lactates with acetates and diacetates at 60 percent for meat and poultry work. Applications shown are meat products, bakery, dairy, beverages and fruit and vegetables. Honghui obtained BRC certification in January 2020, having previously held ISO, halal and OU kosher certificates. It exhibits at Food Ingredients China, FIA China and CPHI China.
